Welcome to the Robin Hood Pole Archery
Founded in 1929, The Robin Hood Pole Archery Club is an archery club located in Winnipeg (St. Boniface) Manitoba and is based on the centuries old tradition of Pole Archery first carried out in Belgium as far back as the 11th century.
Our club has been actively shooting since it was first founded. We are proud of the nearly 85 years of continued participation in the tradition of pole archery first brought to Canada by our Belgian ancestors.
Pole Archery is a sport enjoyed by the whole family, men and woman, young and old. We have junior shooters as young as seven and adults well into their seventies shooting! We meet weekly throughout the summer for shootings, and enjoy friendly competitions amongst our membership and with other clubs.
We welcome new members to come out and give pole archery a try. We’d be happy to have you join us! It’s a great sport for anyone interested in archery and a wonderful opportunity to try something new.
We hope you enjoy your visit to our website.
